VISIONAPARTMENTS Zweierstrasse – contactless check-in Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to VISIONAPARTMENTS Zweierstrasse – contactless check-in in Zurich, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel experience. The building sits quietly on a residential street in Aussersihl, and honestly, that’s part of its charm — you’re staying where locals actually live, not in some touristy bubble. The contactless check-in system works exactly as advertised, which I’ll admit was a relief after a long travel day when you just want to get settled without waiting around a lobby.
The Neighborhood Feel
Aussersihl has this authentic Zurich vibe that I really appreciate — it’s not polished for tourists, but it’s perfectly safe and surprisingly well-connected. You’re actually in one of the city’s most up-and-coming areas, where young professionals live alongside longtime residents. The tram connections from here are fantastic (couples consistently rate the location 8.8, and I can see why), and you can reach the old town or main shopping areas in about 10-15 minutes. There’s a great little bakery just around the corner that locals queue up at every morning, which tells you everything you need about the area.
The Apartment Setup
This three-star property delivers exactly what it promises — clean, functional apartment-style accommodations without any unnecessary frills. The room I stayed in had everything you actually need: a proper bed, decent workspace, and a compact but well-equipped kitchenette that’s perfect for preparing simple meals. I mean, Zurich restaurant prices being what they are, having the option to make your own breakfast or grab groceries from the nearby Coop is genuinely helpful. The Wi-Fi is solid, and there’s enough storage space for a week-long stay without feeling cramped.
Practical Considerations
What I really liked about this place is how straightforward everything is — no hidden fees, no pushy upselling, just honest accommodation that works. The contactless system means you’re not tied to specific check-in times, which is brilliant if you’re arriving on an early flight or late train. Parking in this part of Zurich can be tricky, but the public transport connections are so good that you honestly don’t need a car anyway. The building is quiet at night (important when you’re dealing with jet lag), and the neighbors seem to be a mix of other travelers and local residents who keep normal hours.
Why Guests Love It
This isn’t the kind of place where you’ll spend time hanging around the property — and that’s exactly the point. You get a comfortable, well-located base for exploring Zurich without paying for amenities you probably won’t use. The location really is the star here, giving you that local neighborhood experience while keeping you connected to everything the city offers. For couples especially, having your own space in a residential area rather than a busy hotel district creates a completely different (and more relaxed) travel experience. It’s honest, reliable accommodation that lets Zurich itself be the main attraction.

Reviews of VISIONAPARTMENTS Zweierstrasse – contactless check-in
Clean and cute. – Chippy from India (8/10)
Literally everything. A cute cozy mini studio room with a cute little kitchen that has all amenities. It was spotlessly clean and smelled so fresh. It was the perfect room I wanted after 24 + hours of flying. It is just a few steps away from Weidikon train station (which is one stop away from Zurich HB) . Also there are tram stops nearby. The room is tiny, but so Sauber und cute. Love to get back again.
A descent base to explore Zurich and other cities, but with issues for a relaxing sleep. – Elias from Greece (7/10)
The property was found very clean and tidy. Lucky to find free night parking near the apartment, within the blue lines. It is understood that is not easy to get an apartment to satisfy all needs at a reasonable price in Zurich. Still the apartment provided a good base to explore the old town but also to travel to more remote locations, in wonderful Switzerland.
It was best place to be – Elizabeth from Ghana (7/10)
No breakfast
Very Good – Stefaniia from Ukraine (8/10)
Very Good – Bhumika from Belgium (8/10)

location location location. feels like just at the end of the city center, walking distance from everything if you are the walking type, and good tram service just few min from the apartment.
apartment itself was tiny but good, more in the con section about it.Close to public transport, shops and vey clean – Claudia from Switzerland (9/10)

Wonderful – Kevin from United Kingdom (9/10)
Nice apartment with good amenities and not too far from the centre of town
Very Good – Gökhan from Germany (8/10)
Nice modern apartment close to trains/trams and near Old Town area – Karen from United States of America (8/10)
It was easy to get to the tram (Werd) and the Zurich HB was about a 10ish minute walk from the apartment. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen small but usable, everything was clean and there were laundry facilities. They also provided a fan as requested and responses were quick with the customer service email. The Coop is close as are a number of restaurants between HB and the apartment. It is close to FIFA and the Old town area.
