You’re on Badenerstrasse, which means you’ve got excellent tram connections (the 2 and 3 lines are your friends), but you’re also in this area that’s got real character. I mean, you can walk to the main train station in about 15 minutes, but you’re staying somewhere that feels like actual Zurich, not tourist Zurich. The couples who rate this location so highly (8.0 out of 10, apparently) get it — you want to be connected but not in the middle of all the chaos.

The Room Experience

The room I stayed in was exactly what you’d expect from a well-run Swiss hotel — everything worked, everything was clean, and nothing was flashy. The beds are proper firm (Swiss style, you know), and the windows actually open, which is something I always appreciate. You’ve got your basic amenities, decent WiFi, and — this matters more than you’d think — really good blackout curtains. The bathrooms are compact but functional, with that European efficiency where every centimeter serves a purpose.

Breakfast & Amenities

The breakfast here actually surprised me in the best way. It’s continental and buffet style, but they do it right — proper Swiss bread, local cheeses, decent coffee, and fresh fruit that doesn’t look like it’s been sitting around for days. You eat in this bright space that gets morning light, and it sets you up properly for exploring the city. They’ve also got parking right at the hotel, which honestly, if you’re driving in Zurich, you’ll understand why that’s worth mentioning. Finding parking in this city can be a nightmare, so having it sorted is huge.

  Very good location, tram stop is about 300 metres away from the hotel and it is about 15 minutes to the Zurich Central Railway Station (tram #3). Also there are nice friendly cafès, coffee shops and bars nearby. The hotel staff speaks several languages – English, German, Russian and others.

  The location is good. 30 minutes walking distance from the city center. There are 2 tram stations right across the street that take you to the city center in a short time. There are also 2 grocery stores across the street. There were 4 (2 kids) of us and our room was very large with a separate kitchen area. It was worth it
