Numa I Turi Apartments Overview
First Impressions
Walking up to Numa I Turi Apartments on Schöneggstrasse, you immediately get the sense this isn’t your typical hotel setup. It’s one of those modern three-star properties that feels more like staying in a well-designed city apartment than a traditional hotel room. The building fits right into the Aussersihl neighborhood — clean lines, understated Swiss efficiency, but with a warmth that makes you feel like you’re actually living in Zurich rather than just passing through.
The Aussersihl Experience
Honestly, I think Aussersihl might be one of Zurich’s best-kept secrets for travelers who want to feel like locals. You’re in the 8004 district, which means you’re close enough to the city center but far enough out to avoid the tourist crowds. There’s something refreshing about walking to the nearby tram stops and seeing actual Swiss families going about their daily routines. The area has this authentic residential vibe — you know, the kind where you’ll find neighborhood bakeries and small cafes that don’t feel like they’re performing for visitors.
Living Space That Actually Works
What I really appreciated about my stay was how the apartment setup actually makes sense for longer visits. Each unit comes with a proper kitchen, which — let’s be real — is a game-changer when you’re dealing with Zurich’s restaurant prices. The space feels thoughtfully designed rather than just crammed with hotel furniture. You’ve got room to spread out, and the layout flows naturally from the sleeping area to the living space. It’s the kind of place where you can actually unpack and settle in, rather than living out of a suitcase for your entire stay.
Morning Fuel
The breakfast situation here is pretty solid, especially if you’re someone who likes options without the fuss. They do a continental spread that covers the basics well, plus they’ve got vegetarian choices that don’t feel like an afterthought. But here’s what I found really practical — the breakfast to go option. When you’re planning to catch an early train to the Alps or you want to grab something before exploring the city, being able to take breakfast with you actually saves time and money. It’s one of those small touches that shows they understand how people actually travel.
Why Guests Love It
The location really does work, especially for couples — and I can see why they consistently rate it well for romantic trips. You’re positioned perfectly to explore different parts of Zurich without feeling stuck in any one area. The neighborhood has this lived-in quality that makes evening walks feel natural rather than touristy. Plus, there’s something to be said for having your own space to come back to after a day of sightseeing. You can pick up groceries, cook a simple meal, and just relax without the pressure of hotel dining schedules or the expense of eating out every night. It strikes that sweet spot between independence and comfort that makes a city stay feel sustainable.
To book a hotel in Zurich during Christmas markets, visitors plan ahead to mix Bahnhofstrasse shopping with mulled wine in Niederdorf.

It’s a practical choice for travelers looking for easy access to transportation. – Omelchuk from Ukraine (7/10)
There is a storage area where you can leave your suitcase until the evening of your check-out day or in the morning before your check-in. Its location is convenient, being within walking distance to the station. There is minimal contact with people, but communication with support in the chat is quite clear. The bed is comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows.
Very Good – Terence from Singapore (8/10)
The room is well furnished with lots of natural light.

Zurich apartment at a decent price – Tamara from United States of America (7/10)
Digital check-in was easy. The apartment itself was very nice. The bed was very comfortable, and it was really nice to have a kitchenette. Everything looked nice and modern. We had everything we needed. Wifi worked well and it was easy to connect a device to the TV screen. My emails with questions were always answered promptly. Price was reasonable, especially for Zurich.
Wonderful – Teleica from United Kingdom (9/10)
Believe the reviews, this apartment is small and beautifully formed! It was very clean and comfortable with huge windows and lots of light. I was traveling on my own in July and booked this place as so many people said it was perfect for solo travellers, and they weren't wrong! I felt very safe and the staff were very helpful whenever I did see them, which was rare. The bathroom was basically inside a trusted glass room inside this small room, which was interesting. But the shower was lovely, and everything felt very pleasant.
Very comfortable with everything needed – Spyros from Australia (7/10)

The location of the property was really its a short distance away to places that tourist would visit. Trains and tram are just few minutes away and restaurants are every where. It is a safe location too.
