This three-star property sits right in the heart of Zurich, and I mean really in the heart of it. The building has that understated Swiss charm without trying too hard, which I actually appreciate more than some of the flashier places I’ve stayed.

Location That Actually Matters

You know what’s great about this spot? You’re literally a few minutes’ walk from Zurich’s main train station, but somehow the street itself doesn’t feel touristy or overwhelming. I found myself wandering to Lake Zurich in about ten minutes, and the old town is right there when you want to explore those winding cobblestone streets. The trams are everywhere — well, this is Switzerland after all — so getting around is ridiculously easy. Plus, there’s something nice about staying where locals actually live and work, not just in some hotel district.

The Space Itself

The apartment setup is what really sets this place apart from your standard hotel room. You get a proper kitchen (not just a mini-fridge and coffee maker), which honestly saved me a fortune in a city where eating out can drain your wallet fast. The space feels lived-in rather than sterile — I mean that in the best way possible. Everything’s clean and functional, but it doesn’t have that “don’t touch anything” vibe some places give off. The furnishings are simple but comfortable, and there’s actually enough storage space for more than just an overnight bag.

Daily Life Here

What I loved most was how easy it became to slip into a routine. There’s a great bakery just down the street where I grabbed coffee most mornings, and the Coop supermarket nearby made it simple to stock up on basics. The neighborhood has this nice mix of local shops and cafes without being overly precious about it. Evening walks became a thing — the area feels safe and welcoming, even when you’re clearly not from around here. Parking can be tricky if you’re driving, but honestly, you probably don’t need a car in this location anyway.

Why Guests Love It

I can see why couples rate this place so highly — there’s something romantic about having your own little Swiss apartment in the city center, cooking breakfast together, then stepping out to explore Zurich like temporary locals. The value is solid too, especially considering where you are. You’re not paying for fancy amenities you might not use, but you’re getting space, location, and that sense of actually living somewhere rather than just passing through. It’s the kind of place that makes you think about planning a longer stay next time.

  Smallish but clean and comfortable with excellent location, you're right in the city and 15 minutes walk to the train station.
  The WiFi is a mobile WiFi router, which they let you take with you 'out and about' on your stay! Fantastic perk as all the family could get internets and I didn't have to use my mobile data bundle while in Zurich. It also had Aircon – A nice surprise at this price point. The owner let us drop our bags in advance of check in too.
